The Forest Ranger is based on the rangemaster treble booster circuit with added functionality. It starts with a tone selected, NOS germanium 2N1605 transistor and is hand built, point-to-point for lifetime of tone and service. The Forest Ranger features an input cap blend knob that takes it from stock treble boost to a more full range boost. In addition, the left-most knob is a master volume that allows fine control of the gain staging.
